It’s been a while since the last post so I want to give some new updates about the film and other developments. I’m currently in touch with people from the area of the Triangle of Death whose health has been affected for direct exposure to toxic waste. Being miles and miles away from the area, the communication is unfortunately very slow. But I’m getting to know several people who have been willing to share their stories.

One story in particular deserves attention. This is the story revolving around Vasca San Sossio where material and leftover from cars, called “car-fluff” was buried and hidden decades ago in this area in the town of Marigliano. It was only on Feb. 12, 2006 where the people living around the contaminated area noticed smoking coming out of the soil. After digging around the soil, they discovered the material that for several years had interacted with the soil and groundwater.

About 30 families that live in the area have been suffering from illnesses and manifesting physical conditions that are typical of those who live in contaminated areas. Some of these families have been willing to talk and share their stories.
